I have been using Flight Simulator since its publication and I declare myself quite satisfied despite the bugs still present but which I see progressively addressed and solved by the various updates.
However, in this forum I read numerous reports regarding simulator “madness” (CTD) and / or aircraft that behave in unexpected ways.
What I almost never find from those who report CTD or similar is to report if the motherboard or the graphics card is overclocked which would justify the “crash” of the system by itself.
For aircraft that “do not fly well” I would like to report what my flight instructor said: “the plane can fly well, the pilot can only annoy him”.
This is to say that flying a plane is not easy especially for those who do not have a certain experience, real or simulated.
Finally I suggest to those who complain about the ATC included in MSFS to try the various Ivao or Vatsim in order to interact with real people and not with an artificial “intelligence” which by its nature can be a bit stupid in the face of situations with many shades.
At the hardware overclock in my post I will add the following critical points:
Quality of the power supply and avaible power.
System memory (ram) quality and correct timings if different banks are used.
Last but not least: update state of Win 10 update.
FYI. Most of the crashes, lately, are caused by a cgl file in some of the airports. All the handcrafted airports causes a crash for me. No, im not overclocking my RTX2060 GPU or my Ryzen 7 3700X CPU. It is not a main hardware problem. Zendesk has been informed and ONLY on ONE post have they said they are aware and working on it. Thats the BIG problem we are having is the stiff lips and lack of communication to the public.
For me it is the case. Still use AI aircraft in all the other airports with no problem.I have tried everything mention in the forum on CTDs and the only common fault with me is handcrafted and payware airports. Can fly out of everywhere else with no problem using all of my outside mods, hardware and other programs running at the same time.
Now thinking about it. May be a thermal issue with GPU as I get closer to more complicated airports. Ohh nevermind. I fly Imagesim KATL, VFR Miami and KEYW with no problem and they are complex airports. Well still looking to the one final answer so they can fix it.
Was using Rex Weather force2020, Simtool Kit, Pushback Helper, Simbrief route up on desktop and Navigraph on 2nd monitor ALL running at same time whole route. NO CTD.
