CTD As UI loads - After 1.18.14.0 Hotfix

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?
NO - I cannot used ANY mode the sim CTD’s as the UI loads…
Brief description of the issue:
The sim CTD’s as the UI starts to load - I see the Cessna in the hangar, the quit and whatever buttons appear faintly on screen the the SIM CTD’s - happens every time since installing the 1.18.13.0 update and now also with the hotfix 1.18.14.0

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Start the sim, wait for it to load. Crashes as the UI loads…

32Gb Ram
Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

Anyone have any ideas how I can get past this - had already tried a repair and reset before the Hotfix, nothing has improved the situation. Closing all background tasks. Should I try sacrificing a virgin?

Try my solution for 1.18.13.0:
If you have nvidia lower mhz by 200-300
If you have AMD push minimum mhz around 200 less than max

I got as far as sitting on the runway for 5 secs with Flybywire a320nx mod… and then it crashed again… slow progress… I’m sure a bigger hotfix will come next week…
cause this is not working.

In your case I would remove the Flybywire mod and anything else in your Community folder and try with vanilla aircraft.
With no disrespect intended I would appreciate if you could post you issue in a related existing thread or start a new one - I’m am trying specifically to gain assistance with my particular issue, i.e. CTD as the UI loads.

This is reliving last year 2020 when the beta version came out. Alphas worked a charm.

Community folder is empty, all third party addons are deleted, even those purchased in sim market… CTD confirmed after just few minue flights even in discovery mode…

Still crashing on the world map here after the hotfix, same as before. Nothing in the community folder, no AI traffic.

Don’t know man. As for me this is my first time I’m experiencing this CTD after the latest update. Before the update, I enjoyed the sims for 1200++ hours.

Even after the hot fix, I’m still CTD.

same. my MSFS is a fresh install and vanilla but still CTD.

Still getting a CTD as the sim is just loading the UI - the Cessna appears briefly then the sim CTD’s.
Really disappointed but also not surprised to be honest.
Do not know what to try next apart from running the gauntlet and trying a re-install and 18 hours of downloading that I expect will fail again.

Don’t even think about reinstalling. Did it yesterday as some other users here, it changed nothing.

Before hotfix no CTDs, after hotfix CTDs within 5 minutes taxiing.
