Since SU5, almost every one of my career missions ends in a CTD. It always happens just after skip to descent. It says Flaps Overspeed then locks up and disappears.
I’ve tried restarting the sim, rebooting the computer, renaming my community folder, validating the files in steam, and an uninstall reinstall of all core components. Nothing has helped. Any more suggestions?
How close are you to the airport after you skip?
Otherwise I can only suggest using sim rate and don’t skip.
If it is after you are under 10000ft going over max flaps speed - you don’t really say - it should just ding you and not CTD the mission.
What is your set up before you skip? How is it set up once it has skipped and at what ALT are you at and howmany Kts are you doing at that point? Are you able to set her up for a lower speed and no flaps?
It would be good if you could unpick all of these settings and process’ and then post back here or if you feel it might be a bug after SU5, then make a bug report.
