please increase your windows virtual memory :

  • minimum value 8GIG, maximum value >= 20Gig

Thanks. I’ll try to change it and see what happens

Did not help. I changed the virtual memory from 8GB to 10GB without any luck.

Hi,

I’am not sure what you mean with from “8 to 10”. To be sure, can you post a screenshot from your setting ?

In meanwhile also a thread with infos for users with 16GIG RAM : Finally.....Solved CTD issues... for those of us with < 32 GB ram - #18 by MichaMMA

It’s just often (not allways) the error number in case not enought memory. In parallel a windows scan ( sfc , dism ) may be also a good idea.

Go to community folder and delete all files and folders.
Via content manager delete all 3rd party software, airports, aircraft etc.

Also update Nvidia driver.

dated 29.04.2021

I hope you know what Gigabytes are  I changed the virtualmemory from 8 Gigabytes to 10 Gigabytes.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at the link

The community folder is empty

3rd party…it that addons from outside MSFM ? I have only bought two planes from the marketplace inside MSFS. I have removed them but without any luck

Just did an driver update to the latest release
Video Card:
Driver: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
DirectX Driver Name: nvldumd.dll
Driver Version: 30.0.14.7111
DirectX Driver Version: 30.0.14.7111
Driver Date: 6 21 2021

in case you meant with “to” that you set the MAXIMUM value " to 10 GIG " , then it is not sufficient. Therefore I asking…

As I mentioned set the maximum value to >= 20 GIG.

Ps: and of course there should be enough free disc space

I have a systematic CTD after pressing the Fly button, when Microsoft Edge (Version 91.0.864.59) is open in the background.

When Edge is closed, no CTD, reopen Edge, watch a youtube video, restart MSFS, launch Fly: CTD.

Just changed the virtualmemory to 20Gigabyte and had 2 successful flights. Will have to do some more to see if it was the solution

I don’t use Edge, just Firefox.

may be try to disable “use hardware-acceleration” in edge
