Brief description of the issue:
I use a PC with two display cards (one Nvidia 970 and one Nvidia 570) for several years.
On the first card, I installed a Matrix TripleHead2Go with 3 x 21 inch screens.
On the second screen card, I installed a 24 inch screen.

For the rest, it is an I7 5820 processor with 16 Gb of ram.

Until today, I could fly without any problem with FS2020 using the matrox. The other programs (browser or third party software being on the 24 inch screen).
I obviously could not set the sliders to Ultra but I had found a satisfactory balance.

Since the last update, no way to run the game on the matrox.
FS2020 starts correctly and displays but as soon as I launch the flight, once in the plane, I almost immediately get a return to the desktop.

I obviously applied the tips I read on the forum: the community folder is empty.
I have updated the drivers of the two screen cards.

Nothing changes.

I can run the software on the 24 inch screen without any problem. I was even able to set the sliders to Ultra in this case. I can’t believe it.

However, I can’t find any way to run it on the screens connected to the Matrox.
I tried starting the game on the 24" screen and then moving the window => same result.

Is there anyone using an equivalent setup that is having the same problems?
Or does anyone have a new idea?

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Just start a flight ( any flight, any aircraft)

wow… this thing is still there ?

What is your resulting screen-resolution ?

Can you also check the windows event viewer ?.. may be some intressting error message is logged.

Hello MichaMMA,

Yes it’s always there and working perfectly normally.
the resolution is 3 time a 21 Screen resolution 1680 X 1050 => Total resolution 5040 X 1050
And I put this matrox card on the Nvidia 970.

The Zendesk support provide me the standard answer to the CTD => clean installation without any add-on.
I started yesterday by a reset => situation is bader that previously as now, the FS2020 doesn’t start anymore on the matrox screen. It start and during the startup goes to the desktop before the home screen.
In the event application, I can only see an error application with the following info :

Faulting application name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Faulting module name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

I’m busy now with a clear install even if I’m convince this will not provide a solution…

Emmanuel.

hmmm… the “usually” …0005 which give us no future hints.

The resolution ( 5.3MPixels ) is “a bit” hight for your 970 , but it should at least start.

I remember a case where a user reported similar issue with a switch to a new GPU. May be its the UserCfg. But we have of course no experiance with the Matrox combination. The drivers of the Matrix are very old, may be this cause an issue. Or there is a conflict with nvidia drivers, in case you updated the nvidia may be roll back to former version.
