CTD when starting developer mode during flight

Brief description of the issue:

If I’m sitting on the tarmac prior to take-off and I try to go into dev mode sim freezes then crashes about 7 times out of 10.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Start a flight, spawn on tarmac, pause, go to menu, select dev mode, use drop-down menu to choose either teleport or aircraft selector.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

i7-9700 cpu, rtx2070 super gpu, 32G ram

If you’re using MSI Afterburner or any other monitoring software try it without, guaranteed CTD for me.

I am and I will.

I hope it’s not the culprit ‘cause it knocks about 10C off my GPU temps.

Seems you were on to something.

I tried turning off Afterburner when going in and out of dev mode and the crashes have gone from every other time to none.
