ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When loading a flight at Auburn Municipal Airport (S50) with the Navigraph addons loaded, MSFS2020 crashes

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

I removed all of the mods except the Navigraph addons, and verified that if Navigraph is present the crash occurs, and if it is not it does not.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
100%

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Ensure the Navigraph plugins are installed

  2. From the home screen enter the World Map

  3. From the aircraft selector select the Cessna 152
(Note: I don’t believe the aircraft matters).

  4. In the FROM Select Destination search box type “S50”

  5. Observe the world map attempt to zoom in on the airport.

  6. Observe the screen freeze

  7. Observe MSFS2020 crash

  8. From the event viewer, observe the access violation crash for MSFS2020.

My guess is that there is a metadata conflict between the lateast AIRAC cycle data in Navigraph and the data in MSFS2020.

Note: I’ve tried a bunch of other PNW airports and it also seems to happen at KBLI.

The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.

If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.

If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.

All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.

Seems to be related to AIRAC 2501.1 data - if I remove that the issue goes away. Whether it is an actual Navigraph issue or an MSFS issue that is uncovered by Navigraph is TBD (although it sounds like Navigraph thinks they have a fix).

Cannot confirm this . I have also a navigraph subscription and DO NOT encounter this issue.
Could you provide a link where Navigraph states this (The Fix)?

Lots of other folks can…
