CTD with Citation X

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

CTD shortly after loading the Citation X. Doing preflight stuff.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Twice in a row. Same faulting module.

  2. Start preflight (load flightplan from simbrief etc.)

Citation X is not an MS/Asobo product, nor is it a Commissioned Dev Partner product, so it cannot be logged as a Bug Report. Moved to User Support Hub

Personal Comments and Observations

Looks like it’s video card driver related based on the DLL. You may wish to try and roll back to an older driver and use a clean install approach with utilities like DDU.

Also try using our Lite textures versions if you have an older video card or you’re running on the edge of VRAM exhaustion.

Not sure that it is a Citation X issue at this point. Should I remove that from the title?

I am using VR and am using the newly released OASIS steamvr windows mixed reality driver. This likely has something to do with it. Where do I find the FFX lite textures?

They’re available in the Liveries for each (winglet/non-winglets). You should see them as a choice.

Sure, but you might get lumped into the larger CTD thread that exists in Bug Reports today.

Thanks I will try that. It may be a VRAM issue.

I tried the lite textures model but still getting a CTD. Not sure what is going on here.

You can go to our Discord and we can try to troubleshoot it. There’s a ticketing channel for the Citation X.
