CTD with "..The memory could not be written" NOW Fixed!

After months of trying to repair CTD with POP UP NOTIFICATION “The instruction at 0x … referenced memory at 0x … The memory could not be written” I finally managed to fix last night. What I have done is to lower the computer memory clock via the BIOS menu.

My computer uses a Ryzen 5 3600x CPU Running at 3.8MHz, 16G DDR4 Memory With Clock 3.6 GHz. GPU using RX5600X. What I did was lower the CPU clock to 3 GHz and Memory Clock to 3 GHz and I started MSFS and I tried the Graphic to ULTRA configuration. When flying, I was disturbed by various activities, panning, pop up instruments, which usually went straight to CTD, now it has become stable rock.
I slowly increase the CPU clock now at the 3.8 GHz position and the Memory Clock at 3.2 GHz. It’s been 24 hours now and none of my flights have had CTD.
Now I am relieved that the investigation through many forums, observation of applications, OS and much more has paid off.
Hope this help…

I actually took XMP out of the BIOS and underclocked my RAM a little. I’ve noticed increased stability all round now. Computing is once again a pleasure, not a fight!

Good to hear you’ve solved your issues.
About the RAM; make sure the RAM you purchase is on the QVL (Qualified vendors list) of your motherboard.
The RAM should be able to run at it’s rated and advertised speed if it’s on the QVL list, and the power supply (and motherboard VRM’s) are up to the job.
