If your main memory is 32GB, and you haven’t allocated at least 32GB of virtual memory, MSFS may immediately crash to desktop (CTD) when the committed memory exceeds the limit.

sry but strange. I have from first install from 2018 Automatic set and actually 48xx MB, sim running actually at background. No CTDs at all. Yes, Win10 Home.
I think i found my issue, it was Nvidia driver 610.47, rolled back to 596.49, had my first full flight in over a week!!
Also this was back on the Beta
I have no driver update from 2021, why yes?
It brings me not 20-30 FPS to my game.

Do you have a 13th- or 14th-generation Intel processor?

I had the same problem as you, and updating the BIOS solved my issue.
CTDs every flight since 5.1 update. Tried the 5.1 beta for a while but experienced CTDs every time, so went back to standard release which was working fine. Now they release the faulty 5.1 BETA as the release version!!! Back to CTDs every flight and nothing I can do about it!!!
