CTRL+TAB doesn't enable VR in .31

With my Windows 11 25H2 (9800X3D+RTX5800), Nvidia Driver 581.29, SU4b.31, Quest3+Virtual Desktop, I can’t enable VR as usual with CTRL+TAB from the keyboard but only using the Settings→VR→Enable VR button. I can use CTRL+TAB to return to 2D though. Is anybody else experiencing that? Obviously it needs to be fixed but I am hearing that .31 is really .32 and will be released as is.

I have assigned the function to a button of my Joystick, and it works as usual. Entering and leaving VR mode.

It does here.

I’ve changed the activation settings in the VR window to Caps Lock as it’s easier to find whilst “under the hood”.. Works well in both 2020 and 2024

Maybe you need to rebind it? I’ve always used Crtl-Shift-Space or yoke/joystick button bindings.

(OP) It (CTRL+TAB) works fine when the sim mode is in “ESC” settings/ end flight/ main menu options mode but not simply in “flight” mode, which used to work.

I’m using my Joystick Key when parking at a gate, so in the cockpit. No ESC or Menu. Works for entering and leaving the VR Mode.

Did you find any solution for this? I also cannot switch to VR anymore - it tries to switch but then go back to 2D. I restarted everything and still get this issue. Seems to be still an issue on 1.6.33.0

I am getting this issue intermittently as well. starts to go into VR, then auto switches back to 2d.
