The fuel tank selector cannot be set to use the right tank.

only 2 positions are available for the redbull version: left and off
The other versions are working fine

I have since reviewed this video and this video covering the creation of this aircraft and here’s what I learned:

  • The builder equipped it with a removable ~20 gallon tank behind the seat for cross-country flights. (There’s also a smaller tank for competition, but I don’t believe that’s modeled here.) This is reflected correctly in the weight & balance screen as “Center 1” tank.
  • There are no tanks at all in the wings, which means it probably doesn’t make sense to have a fuel gauge up there.
  • At 17:24 in the second video, it looks like the fuel selector switch has been removed. Not sure if it ever got put back in.
  • And a bunch of other things weren’t represented, e.g. the new instrument panel isn’t modeled, etc. I think an accurate cockpit model just wasn’t in scope for this task.

So I think the real bug here is that we have a fuel gauge up in the left wing root. It should probably just be removed. There may be a fuel gauge somewhere but I wasn’t able to find evidence in those videos of one.
