Hi All,
The only thing stopping many from permanently retiring MSFS and hopping across to FS2024 is the state of injected AI aircraft traffic. The new sim’s default traffic engine only provides a handful of real-world liveries, and some of the aircraft behaviour is a lot less convincing than the likes of third-party mods such as FSLTL and FS Traffic.
So my question is: is there currently any way to get decent AI traffic in FS2024, that performs on the same level as, say, FSLTL in MSFS? FSLTL itself? AIG? FS Traffic? Beyond ATC? Say Intentions?
Thanks.
Beyond ATC w/FSLTL Models is very good if you fly free flight. VFR support is coming soon on their roadmap. FSLTL is pretty good with the injector though not as good as the BeyondATC injector.

Thanks. I know FSLTL currently only offers very basic 2024 support but does it behave better than the default Asobo AI traffic?
I’m very keen to get BATC once VFR support is added. But I see Say Intentions is getting a big update next week, including a(n allegedly) free virtual ATC/multiplayer mod.
It’s confusing at the moment, with the speed it’s all happening!
I would hardly say the state of traffic is the only thing holding me back from '24 lol, but yeah, BATC is good for injected traffic and IFR atc. SayIntentions just announced their full traffic injection coming to Partners on 4/15 as well.
It can’t. FSLTL, just like AIG, uses the AI/ATC simulation from MSFS. While there are possible workarounds for approaches and departures and ways to enforce a specific altitude and speed of ai aircraft the general behavior remains the same, especially on ground.
From my knowledge BATC is the only solution which comes with a custom ai traffic system that has nothing to do with the default behavior (as it replaces ATC this ultimately means also it must do so, otherwise the thing would not work - AI and ATC are basically hard linked together).
