Cursor appears when it should not (in VR)

I fly in VR only, and for control of the cockpit I use a Kensington trackball.
Lately, the cursors comes alive all the time and hovers right in front of me, even though I did not even touch the trackball. That is quite annoying, particularly during stressful segments of a flight, like descent or landing.

I use a motion rig and a butt kicker, so maybe all that movement wakes up the trackball and I get the cursor when I don‘t want it.

Now my question: is there any way to disable the mouse cursor in VR? Ideally with a mouse button?

I can make my cursor disappear by clicking the right mouse button. Click again brings it back. Not sure if that would apply to a trackball though.

…do you play in VR?

My middle scroll wheel disables the curser in vr

Yup! And correction, it’s the middle (scroll) wheel that “disappears” the cursor. I haven’t changed any settings to do it, just happens that way.

Interesting, thanks!
I use my scroll wheel to set dials, but never tried it to disappear the cursor.

If it is not too much hassle: could you check what command is attached to your mouse scroll wheel in control settings? I am asking, because - if I remember well - I deleted all commands for the mouse that came with MSFS…

I already tried the „toggle cursor“ command, but that did not make my VR cursor disappear…

Thanks in advance!
