How do I reset my cursor while in game without resetting the sim. It works OK. but I’m stuck with an Up/Down Arrow and can’t get back to the regular pointer. It won’t change shape when I point to knobs and switches. A trivial problem but annoying, there must be a key press to fix this surely!
Two things come to mind.
- Alt-Enter and minimize MSFS. Then click on any icon on the desktop.
- Unplug (or turn off) mouse. wait 30 secs and reconnect (turn-on)
Otherwise - 
This just happened to me. I opened and closed the ATC window with the scroll-lock key. I think it got stuck when the cursor was on the edge of the ATC window and it thought I was resizing. I closed the window with scroll-lock and it got stuck.
Anyway, for me I just opened the ATC window again and moved the cursor around the window. Then the cursor was back to normal.

yes - same thing happens the same way with the ‘V’ map open. Fix it the same way.
BTW the cursor still works - it just looks confused about itself
