Custom Camera Views Not Saving

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I have RT+CTRL + digit 0-9 set as my hot key to save Custom cockpit views, which usually works very well, but I notice that in some aircraft, including the default Pilatus PC24, only 1 or 2 key bindings work, the rest take me to a point back in the cabin somewhere ! Not very useful.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

REPRODUCTION STEPS

1.Setup a view you want to keep
2. Press RT+CTRL+3 to save it my “Load Custom view” button of digit 3
3.View changes to somewhere totally irrelevant

A workaround for this known bug is as follows:

Close the sim, if it is running, (Re-)start the sim, Configure custom views for one single airplane, Close the sim, Restart the sim, Your custom views will appear as saved, Repeat for the next plane you wish to configure.

This is still a thing.

It worked fine for me until last week but I noticed on my last flight, with the Fenix A320, that my saved views are now moving the camera to totally random places and my attempts to re-save are having no effect.

How has this broken?

Edited to add Having played about with it I can confirm if you quit the sim between loading different aircraft types it works ok. Swapping from one type to another seems to cause issues with custom cameras

When you change aircraft the sim continues to use the custom camera positions from the first aircraft you loaded. That’s why they seem random.

It’s such a stupid little bug that the fact it wasn’t fixed in SU1 is frankly shocking. I bet it hasn’t been fixed in SU2 either, but maybe someone on the beta can confirm either way.

I certainly hope they do include this in SU2, it is a real pain to have to close and restart 2024 every time you change custom views in any way.
