I can’t get my custom camera views to work right. I’ve tried several different key combinations to both save and activate the custom view thinking that might be the problem, but so far I’m out of luck. I believe this happened around the same time as the last update, but I can’t say that for sure. I’ve seen several old forum entries from last year, but couldn’t find any more recent.
What’s strange is that I can display the CAMERAS.CFG file on the screen, go into MSFS and set the view where I want it, then refresh the file and the XYZ coordinates update as they should. I do this for nine different views, but when I press the corresponding number (I’m trying to use the number pad now) to select the view in MSFS, the first two work (sometimes) but the others never do.
I have the Longitude and basically I want wing views and some general cockpit views. Right now I’m trying to use TAB[1-9 Number Pad] to record the view and [1-9 Number Pad] to display it.

Which cameras.cfg did you edit? There are two. Oh, and don’t use the numpad numbers, but the ones above the letter keys.

Numpad doesn’t work for custom views. You have to use the normal number keys.

I didn’t actually “edit” the file, but watched it change as I updated the views. As I made the changes to MSFS, I searched the other camera files, and none changed. But to answer the question, the file was C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_Longitude
I have the Steam version. I tried the numbers above the letters and those didn’t work either, but that was on a Tuesday and with MSFS, this being a Wednesday, they might work for me now. Or maybe I was doing it wrong - that’s certainly a possibility. 
Just curious, do you use the Alt + [Number Above Letters] to set the view, and the corresponding number above the letters to select the view?

YES! That was it. Through my “experimenting” I somehow changed my instrument views to my 1-9 keys and that messed everything up. I reset them to other keys and now everything is working properly. Thanks very much.
