Hello,
Years ago, in MS2020, I found that one aircraft in my personal livery appeared on an adjoining parking bay after landing and taxiing to my own bay. I don’t know how that happened, but I was, at the time, intrigued. I have now several aircraft in my livery, and would like to emulate what happened years ago. I am still using MSFS 2020.
Anyone have any ideas?
Dingo
There is an option in the aircraft.cfg file of each addon aircraft, which controls whether or not it will be used by the sim for “Parked Aircraft” at airports.
in the [FLTSIM.X] section (one for each livery) look for:
isAirTraffic =0 and change to 1
(obviously not possible for marketplace aircraft)
Hi, REDHERON,
Many thanks for your response.
I’ll take your good advice, and let you know how it worked.
Appreciate your response

Hi, again, REDHERON,
Does your reply refer to FLTSIM.X only? My version of MSFS 2020 was purchased through Microsoft, and the line…. isAirTraffic=0…does not appear in my .CFG file.
Dingo
oh! I just saw your update…
So, if an aircraft is purchased in the marketplace (2020 or 2024) then usually the aircraft.cfg is completely hidden (or its called encrypted) because of DRM etc.
[FLTSIM.X] was reference to a section inside the aircraft.cfg file not the sim called FSX.
the aircraft.cfg file lives in the folder of an addon aircraft, for instance:
aircraft_name\SimObjects\Airplanes\aircraft_name/aircraft.cfg
[FLTSIM.0]
isAirTraffic = 0
There is a [FLTSIM.0] [FLTSIM.1] [FLTSIM.2], etc. for each paint (livery)
does that make more sense?
You are absolutely correct, aircraft.cfg is hidden for marketplace distributable products, which begs the question, how you have access to the FSReborn FSR500 aircraft.cfg information when we only distribute exclusively via marketplace?
This is all that is visible when installed via MP:
There is zero access to aircraft.cfg..
Only way to know what is inside of aircraft.cfg for FSR500 is, by having access to an unencrypted version of the product, which would be theoretically impossible since I do not sell anything by any other means except than MS Market Place..
So how you have access to this file? care to explain?

oh gosh im sorry i didnt mean to expose anything. I asked ChatGPT to find me a FLTSIM example and i just pasted it in here. I dont even own that aircraft. I checked my browser history and i wasnt even logged into ChatGPT so i cant find a prompt for you
It must have found this somewhere on the net.
Copy.. no worries thanks for the clarification.
All the best,
R.
Hi, Guys,
The aircraft I am referring to in my post are NOT market-place purchased ones, but those readily available as ‘freebies’ on FlightSim.to. In some cases, I might ask the artist’s permission for me to repaint in part, advising him/her that the finished product is for my personal and private use only. Most artists agree…a couple won’t….and fair enough.
But my initial question still remains.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks
Hello, again,
Just found a few screenshots of the ‘event’ in question, and I’ll attach an image for your information.
Perhaps another screenshot……
