Also, for future reference, there was insufficient information in this bug report even if it was for stock sim. Template is required for a reason, to make it easier for readers to clearly understand supposed defect and reproduce independently for validation. Thanks.
Hi,
what is wrong with our charts/data? Why should the OP report this to us? Look at the AIP Canada and you will see, that the stock scenery/runway is outdated …
So, what do you expect from us now? Our data and also the charts are correct according the real world …
Given the lack of data on the bug report, I’m not sure where to send him other than to Navigraph to confirm what he’s seeing is either usually a) a mismatch between airport BGL and current Navigraph AIRAC or b) something else. But the policy here is to either revert the sim to Vanilla Navblue state or confer with the third-party maker to eliminate the add-on. Rest assured, we’re not trying to send you unnecessary traffic - you know me better than that.
This is not usually what we on Mod Staff would do, but here’s a comparison without opening the sim:
This below is what is expected to be filed by a defect report that would let Dev Team reproduce the error - not a one-liner in an incomplete Bug Report.
Little Nav Map pulling BGL data directly from the sim for airport layout still shows 02/20 as a valid runway. However, Navigraph doesn’t show any Approach or SID/STARs for that runway, so nothing will be selectable from the FMS. If user didn’t have LNM, they could launch a drone from Cold & Dark on the ramp and elevate as needed to show screenshot of defect.
Charts 8 shows that 02/20 is now a taxiway.
However, none of that was even attempted to be detailed by the user’s report. It was inadequate to even derive any of that information. Which is why we ask users to be more detailed so we can figure out if it’s potentially an underlying sim problem or not. But Mod Staff don’t triage posts - all we can do is determine if it’s posted correctly and if the content is enough to make a further decision to place it more correctly. Those of us on staff who have time and capability will try to do more than that if possible.
