Even on medium power, the RPM gauge still show max output and warning signs.
Are there any small GA planes in MS2024 that actually have base functionality?
Sadly this has been around since MSFS2020 and was never fixed. I´m assuming it´s the same plane in 2024, with the same buggy code in it.
You are correct, i got used to the freeware upgrade that fixed the issue in MSFS2020.
It is offered for MSFS2024, but the avionics in general is not compatible.
I just don’t get it, with hundreds of people working on the sim, they can’t find one person to sit down with each plane to catch the obvious bugs.
I think their policy is “the user is the best tester”. That"s why they have the bug reporting system. If we do it properly, there is a chance of fixing it in the future. Some similar bug is with the R66 torque gauge. It wobles up and down but the heli is somehow stable. Probably just a gauge bug. The disappointment comes when you have high expectations. I started to take this sim as it is, nothing more, nothing less. Just a video game. If I wanted real stuff I would take flying lessons.

I´m afraid it will just continue degrading, with all the new planes in 2024. I doubt we´ll see those long standing bugs get solved any time soon, if ever, and so many defects were found in the new planes…
