Not sure how complex this bug is to fix, I hope it’s just a small change and based on a mistake from the last patch when they fixed the alternators. Is there any type of feedback if a bug report gets accepted and worked on by the team?
Not sure this is a SU6 bug as I had a perfect flight on 16 August i.e. after the update. Possibly someone at Asobo made a “tweak” which broke the DA62?
Just had the same issue when on a Career Mission. Workaround I got was immeadiately use of the ALT+N.
CTRL+E to start the engines didn’t work, had to use ALT+N
Its happening to me too.
Workaround for me. Bound “Toggle Starter Left” and “Toggle Starter Right” to Shift+L and Shift+R respectively. I use a Streamdeck so allocated a couple of spare buttons, seems to work okay, although it works without.
Another possible workaround: On PC, when I search for “starter” under controls, I don’t have “Toggle Starter (Left/Right)” like @Terrylawdinn, but I did find that “Toggle Starter 1” and “Toggle Starter 2” under “Airplanes” controls (as opposed to “Specific”) work as expected - starter 1 for the left and 2 for the right. Still having the G1000 reboot issue, but this does allow for a start from cold & dark.
Sorry, was posting from memory. It is in the Keyboard Settings and indeed is Toggle Starter 1 and Toggle Starter 2
Good find, much appreciated @Terrylawdinn. I was just getting back into the DA62 and this bug was proving quite annoying.
