JeanLuc957079, I wold start by taking all mods out of the community folder and fly vanilla for awhile, see if the issue is still there. You want to find which mod if any, is causing the issue, if you still have this issue with no mods then you need to address your Logitech setup more closely.
I enjoy flying the DA62 and this mod makes it better. Today is the first time I have flown it in about 2 months. Life, new computer build and many other things have kept me away.
Anyway for some reason my throttle is acting strange. I have 2 levers assigned to the 2 throttles, Engine 1 and Engine 2. The throttle responds correct in windows and in the Flight Sim control config. You can see the bar move with the throttle from the bottom to the top. The problem is in the plane the throttles do not move until I have moved the throttle lever past the half way mark. Both react the same. Then in the second half I go from 0-100% power. Any ideas how to fix this?
Check the binding on the throttle axis â it might be on the â-100 to 100â when it needs to be on the â0 to 100â or vice versa
That may be the issue, Iâm set on the 0-100 setting. I will try the other tomorrow.
Hang on to yer helmet girlz! Stuffâs out!
" All planes:
- Added altitude interception for PITCH HOLD mode
- Increased native induced drag amount and improved induced drag precision
- Autopilot no longer flies toward a Waypoint removed from the FlightPlan
- SimConnect injected traffic (VATSIM, IVAO) should now be displayed in HTML/JS instruments that have traffic displays as well as on the VFR Map
- Fixed simvar acceleration not taking impacts into account and returning wrong values on ground
- Writing back corrected acceleration values after impact resolutions so that they are exact when pulled as a simvar
- Flaps, stall, wing and fuselage updates of flight model
- More cleanup of the flaps system. Support multi systems with different number of levels and max angles
- Increased threshold to avoid trim fight against elevator to 50% (corresponds to disconnect threshold)
- Changed elevator AP with trim to avoid fighting against user input when user input is >50% on elevator
- Allow setting the empty CG position out of limits
- Fixed more audio not playing on large aircraft
- Fixed Autothrottle sometimes disabled by AI"
" * Improved propeller drag and engine drag tuning for the Diamond DA62
- Flight model handling update on the Diamond DA62. Made engine effect more important by adjusting rudder surfaces"
Iâve not DA62-d for a while concentrating on my PPL (and the DV20) so itâs not in my hands currently but Iâm really interested in your opinion about these changes!
Have you guys tried out the mod with the latest update yet? (Iâm still downloading)
Iâm on it now, just on the tarmac with the DA62 without any mod to check it outâŠ
Any chance youâll update the model for SU4, taking advantage of the new flight model capabilities, adjusting the behaviour of the model to changes introduced by Asobo, and adapting the anti-ice system to the new parameters for structural icing?
Pretty please! With sugar on top!
The mod is working perfectly for me with WT g1000 0.3.7. and SU4!
Just an update on my throttle issue. I had them mapped to throttle axis 0-100% and that is wrong. Just configured them to Throttle axis and now it works the way it should.
The update introduced changes to the flight model and the icing. Stuff like this:
- Flaps, stall, wing and fuselage updates of flight model
- Added elevator_lift_coef, rudder_lift_coef and fuselage_lateral_cx to give aircraft creators better control over plane stability
- Decrease structural icing rate by a factor of 15 for severe icing (6 for moderate)
I didnât mean to imply that SU4 broke the DA62X in any way. I was just curious whether Tommy planned to adapt the model to the new capabilities and behaviour of SU4.
(The forum notified me that your post was a reply to mine. It doesnât say so when I look at the thread, but I still felt I should respond to clarify.)
Quick question, whatâs the correct procedure to âturn offâ the modded DA62? I did a flight in it last night and even after shutting off the avionics, engines, and electric master, MSFS didnât give me the âflight completeâ screen, instead manually making me hit ESC and return to the menu that way.
Usually if you turn off the electrics it finishes the flight. Always works for me.
I might have done something in the wrong order, then. Not sure. Will take a look now.
Okay now it seems to have broken itself somehow. Have no engine indications, says âcheck incompatible listâ and âcheck FAQâ on the PFD. Did both of those things, donât have anything incompatible installed. Made sure to update the mod and the WT G1000 to the latest version just to make sure. Any idea whatâs causing that?
Iâll take a look on the weekend.
I took a quick look at the SDK documentation, and it has not been updated.
Things i see needing to be looked at:
Flaps and control surfaces: If the stock planes have the changes then i can take a look, otherwise ill have to wait for the SDK documentation.
Icing: Depends if they also nerfed the Anti-ice. If icing builds up 15x slower, but the anti ice is just as good, ill need to rewrite the code to make it work with such low duty cycles.
Induced Drag: i assume this was just changed for each plane induvidually and not to the whole sim
Propdrag: good!!
I got a little bored today..
I do love the over all changes, but for some reason, the wing light doesnât turn on for me. I havenât had the chance to check the anti-icing. Just wondering if thereâs something Iâm missing.
Iâve found this happens from time to time with default and modded aircraft alike, particularly at airfields without ground control/ATC. I canât confirm this but itâs as if the sim doesnât recognise that you are in a parking spot or at the gate.
