Daher TBM 930 autopilot no longer working

I had one flight in California with the TBM after the patch, and then it worked fine actually, but today in the Egean and Canarys… nosedive..

Just flew from SAWO to SCEL - about 1500Nm in the TBM without a hit. Full IFR flight, AP on after take off, switched AP off about 1,000ft up on final, ILS landing - without a hitch.

This jsut happened to me right now. I have never had issues with the TBM but today, i hit ap and it nose dives, sets trim all the way down then spirals out of control. It does it with alt on or off. VS does nothing.

MSFS bugs were just like the COVID-19. Yesterday your fine but today you get infected.

Tried it 3 times. It seems that AP trim control isn’t working. AP tries to move trim but it goes back to whatever setting you have it at. This has the unfortunate effect of preventing VS from working at all.

How can the bugs “come out yesterday” if there was no update whatsover to the game? You’re either doing something wrong or a mod you installed does something wrong.

This happens to the 787. On the other hand, autopilot of TBM stop working while descending. NOW the only plane I can fly is Icon A5 as it don’t have autopilot at all.

Well, it depends on if it a server side issue.

Check if you mapped trim to a peripheral axis. I had switched my elevator trim to an axis and it prevented the autopilot trim from functioning properly. This is very likely a bug.

This bug has been in the game for a long time now. It’s definitely a trim thing. I don’t know what causes it. I haven’t been able to make it happen deliberately. I’m just flying along on AP and suddenly the plane pitches up or down with full trim for no discernable reason. It’s not limited to the TBM. I’ve had it occur to every Asobo plane I’ve flown. Still haven’t had it happen to either Carenado planes though, so I’m not sure what’s up with that.

I haven’t had it happen often as of late it seems, although I had a fight with the . I haven’t changed anything in my setup, bindings, etc.

It is best to fly with the cockpit as dark as possible. Those lights should not be on unless needed.
