It would be great if flight data could be sent out so flight tracking software such as Volanta, or SmartCARS, could track flights for use with virtual airlines.
In Forza Motorsport you can output data from your car in real time allowing for third party apps to track laptimes, suspension travel etc.
If the gps location, altitude, and landing rates were able to be captured on a local network it would open the world of VATSIM, and virtual airlines, to those people out there in consoles as well as PC
