  1. Worked perfectly for 2 days.

  2. Now the fuel flow fluctuates on all engines when increasing power. (Drop to zero all engines with slight raise again) BMEP fluctuates

  3. This happen from both CD or ready to taxi. FE takes control or me .

  4. Nice weather - no icing.

  5. Tried repair motor and prop at least 4 times.

  6. motor parameters green or yellow.

  7. PC restart.

  8. And please read step 1 again. Worked perfectly since purchase for at least 15 starts , hours of flight with no problem, from dry takeoff to climb cruise descend…

Thanks! I’ll take note if this happens to me again in the future

How did you fix the problem.

Seems like they had mixture assigned to an axis and that was messing with it.

The DC-6 does not have normal mixture axes, it has four levers that go between idle cutoff, auto lean, and auto rich. It’s recommended you unbind all controls not deliberately used in the DC-6 to avoid issues like this.

I have a separate and unique set of DC-6 ONLY bindings for both flight controllers, keyboard, and mouse. Ever since setting that up I haven’t had any issues (other than general MSFS issues) with the DC-6.

I highly suggest watching the excellent tutorial videos put together by Captain Randazzo @ PMDG. They are invaluable training tools.

Fix:
I make sure that the HOTAS mixture is all way back.
It is a rotary thumb wheel - easy to touch and move without knowing it.

You’ll get engine fluctuation ( which can seem like fuel flow issues ) if you mistreat them enough, too.
