can i use a debit card to buy from the msfs store .i don’t have a credit card.
thanks
steve
I guess the answer is no, since debit card can only be used at ATM,
an alternate solution may be using a money transfer to your (after creating one ofc) paypal account and then purchase anythings using your paypal fund
ps : paypal allow direct debit to your bank account once your paypal account is properly identified to your ID
This is not correct.
Just one example for your reference:
You can add your credit card, debit card, bank account, PayPal account, or mobile phone as a new payment method for your Microsoft account. The payment method will then show up as an option during the checkout step for your next Microsoft Store online purchase.
Note: Not all payment methods are supported in all regions.
Yes the vagaries of the banking system have caught me out more than once!
Maybe this is correct in your country, but throughout Europe and the USA (including the MSFS Store) debit cards can be used in precisely the same places as credit cards.
Well, I have been reminiscing about my experiences in online buying in the years 2000 when I was under 18 years old and only had a debit card.
i use steam wallet code for buying marketplace stuff.
thanks everyone.somethings wrong as i setup paypal to pay in the store and thats not working either.my msfs was bought through the store, not steam.so i can’t use the steam wallet way?also i have enough money to pay for the atr 72 in my MS account .that is not being used either.
thanks
steve
I personally would never use a debit card to buy one thing, the potential for it to be hacked is very high. Go to the grocery store and buy a prepaid Visa or American Express Credit card, and use that. Simple.
