Is there a way to realistically simulate a worn-out, cracked, or even skid-marked apron, taxiway, or runway using the SDK?
Yes, define custom textures via a materiall-ib (or use the provided cracked textures) and apply to a runway which you defined.
Thanks for the reply. Would you happen to know what category in the Material Library these types of textures would fall under?
All I’ve been able to locate are the fundamentals, such as gravel, cement, coral, asphalt, dirt, and so on, under various categories. Even fiddling around with the texture rotation and other options in the texture property settings doesn’t yield the best results to realistically simulate a worn-out, cracked, surface Ect Ect.
Would you or Anyone else here have suggestions on good sources where I can find better textures to achieve the best possible results.
I’m still learning the SDK and trying to do as much learning as I can on my own, so maybe I’m missing something or I’m simply not setting the texture attributes the right way to get the best results.

If you need a primer for material Lib creation, here is a good tutorial
Thank You, This is precisely what I needed.
Usually within the provided categories. Under Asobo_Asphalt, for example, there a few with textures with "cracked’ in the name. Way down
Thank You much Aprecciated.
