ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: On Medical flights, when the medics request we divert to the nearest airport or need urgent hospital support, when the option to declare PAN PAN is pushed nothing happens. The Pilot declares the PAN PAN but there is no response from air traffic control.

I have had this on 5 missions now on Beta 1.

I had the same on a flight from Grand Bahama to Mobile, AL.
I declared the pan-pan but then I received no further instructions from ATC, and I couldn’t ask for a reroute. The blue “rectangles in the sky” didn’t change and kept pointing to Mobile.
I ended up aborting the mission.

Did this work on the non-beta version? If not, it’s nit a regression and should be logged in the ‘normal’ bug report section.

Hi @LordRensburg,

Before I log this for investigation, would you be able to provide any more information as to how you were able to replicate this? I see you noted that just flying a mission of this type will cause the bug, but is there any more specific information you can give if it happens on every flight? Does it happen at any particular common stage of flight like before descent for example?

Hi @Chewwy94 , thanks for looking into this. The only thing that I can add is that, it usually happens when I get to cruising altitude and they start their examination of the patient. I then get the Captain we need to land ASAP and get the PAN PAN option. then nothing happens once clicked.

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
