Default 737 max issues

A general dump of all the issues with the default 737, feel free to add since we have no idea what is being fixed and what has actually been reported.

These are the things ive discovered so far.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
-GND power still unavailable despite being shown avail in overhead.
-PFD is mirrored on co-pilot side.
-Squawk unsettable
-Default panel colors off (not matching real life reference)
-3D model wings unsymmetrical, left side wing leading edge has a weird up and down curve while right side is normal looking, same with the wingflex
-Engine startup sequence off from real life. (takes about double time for parameters to reach motoring + max motoring values seems off
-Taxiing with idle thrust impossible.
-Loading weights via FMC impossible, CG allways out of limit + discrepancy between EFB and FMC values
-BLEED + air cond warnings on TO+CLIMB on high thrust settings
-STAB TRIM way too effective

  • De-icing is not working at all. Only green lights appear on the panel, but not effecting the plane.
  • When changing approach scheme on EFB and sending route to avionics, it builds straight route to the first waypoint at the very beginning, ignoring the current position, so you need to disable LNAV, activate route, skip manually all the waypoints you already passed and then avtivate LNAV. Not sure if it’s a bug or feature.

I don’t think it’s meant to be loaded this way. You load the 737 via the EFB → Performance → Mass & Balance → Passengers/Fuel/cargo/ section. I usually just enter approximate simbrief values in there and then “Load Aircraft” and have never seen a CG issue.
The mystery is why there is an interface in the FMC under Menu → Settings that has weight and balance page when it isn’t used/not working.

I can’t get any keybindings to change the altitude bug, the usual one doesn’t work nor does any other altitude reference bind work, the only way to change it is with the mouse.

Also the exterior lights don’t work on the bbj

Landing light binding does not work
Works for every other plane except the 737
Cant access cabin and setup nice wing views or cabin views

The switch to choose between displaying VOR2 info, NDB2 info or nothing on the Captain’s rightmost screen has no effect, it always displays VOR2 info.

Does anyone else have an issue with the trim being set to unhelpful/unusual numbers when loading in to the stock MSFS 24 737 Max 8? Every time I load in for free flight, the trim value is set to -27%, thus adding one more thing to do on the checklist. Is there a known fix for this?

Are all these issues still here after SU3? Or is the plane usable?

I use steam and assume that it keeps the game fully updated, so I assume I have SU3. I am still experiencing the trim and autopilot (LNAV) issues described above, plus some other oddities. So the default 737 definitely is not perfect.
