In the MCDU, when you enter the departure and arrival airports in the FROM/TO fields, the INIT REQUEST disappears. This is not a bug; it is by design. So it’s logical that if you select the departure and arrival airports before the flight, the INIT REQUEST also disappears.

Yep, this will be an adjustment period as users are not used to iniBuilds’ Airbus avionics communicating with default planning tools in any way.
