Just returning to MSFS2024 after a couple of month to give them time to fix it.
I’m flying the default A320 v2 I have a flight plan in simbrief.
I load this into EFB successfully, I click SEND ROUTE TO AVIONICS
but the MCDU never gets the data.
Help .. otherwise I’d have to create the flight each time and the weight / balance I can never get to work.
I use the Navigraph application from their sight, there is an “Import” option. I import the plan and after that I can send it to avionics. However today I had CTD doing this, so, restarted the Sim and after creating the plan in SimBrief and downloading via their SimBrief Downloader I opened it in the WT online flight planner and repeated there, I only had to input additionally average fuel flow numbers to the planner. And later, in the Map view I opened the EFB and loaded this plan (but I had to input fuel/load sections manually according to what was calculated by SImbrief). Later, at the Gate I used the IniBuilds EFB to load the plan again to send them to avionics and calculkate Vrefs
thanks for the reply. I have navigraph charts also, so I created the flight there and exported it to MSFS 2024.
Now is there a way other than EFB to inport it into MSFS. I used to be able to hit the space bar in the globe to create a flight and then load the PLN.
I tried the EFB with that but it did not load it into the A320 MCDU and the first time I tried I too got the crash to desktop.
Obviously this must work, I’m missing something.
1 Create flight plan via Simbrief and generate
2 In MSFS 2024 select Airbus A320neo (V2)
3 Select airport / parking or gate
4 Start flight.
5 After powering aircraft go to EFB options.
6 Go to the SimBrief account settings.

7 Under “Your SimBrief Data” you will find your Pilot ID – copy ID
8 Go to EFB options.
9 IRS Align Time – click Instant
10 Paste or enter your Pilot ID into SimBrief Pilot ID and click Dashboard.
11 On the overhead panel, set IRS to the NAV position.
12 Click SimBrief
and then click INIT Request
today , everytime I load the pln from simbrief (created today) exported to 2024 FS , it crashes FS2024.
Rebooted created new flight plan when I load into EFB (A320 v2) crashed again.
Why are you loading the .pln file at all? I already wrote above what needs to be done - and it still works. I also tested importing directly into the tablet by clicking SimBrief, and it works without any crash. So in my case, both ways work: importing into the tablet via SimBrief and in the MCDU by pressing INIT REQUEST. There’s no need to export or load a .pln file manually.
I have the Airbus v2 (5.25.0.110)
installed locally (not streamed) - tested it with the default livery and both SimBrief import via tablet and INIT REQUEST in the MCDU worked fine.

“IRS INIT” is what I have in MCDU not INIT REQUEST
there is no specific “simbrief”
You’re doing something wrong.
Don’t create your flight plan in the MSFS main menu (before flight) or in the in-game tablet (EFB - the one you open with TAB).
Instead, when setting up the flight in MSFS, choose your departure as a ramp or gate (so you start cold and dark at the airport, not on the runway).
Then power up the aircraft and follow the same steps as I did in my screenshots. That way you’ll see INIT REQUEST in the MCDU and everything will work with SimBrief correctly.
It is a bug introduced during beta. Reported and ignored.
If you select departing and arriving airport on the world map before lunching the flight, the MCDU will be half-pre loaded and “Init REQUEST” will NOT be available.
Workaround: cicle the airac to reset the MCDU and Init REQUEST will be available back.
In the MCDU, when you enter the departure and arrival airports in the FROM/TO fields, the INIT REQUEST disappears. This is not a bug; it is by design.
So it’s logical that if you select the departure and arrival airports before the flight, the INIT REQUEST also disappears.
Yep, this will be an adjustment period as users are not used to iniBuilds’ Airbus avionics communicating with default planning tools in any way.
