Dumb question guys, if i understand, in the Scenery menu, the FS-Base and the Asobo librairies that shows in Scenery are default stuff, was wondering if all the Scenes that also starts with Microsoft-xxxxxxxxx are default ones that everyone should have? I am frailty new to the SDK and stuff i started to create, i am trying as much as i can to use default stuff to minimize the needs of mods that might be easy for everyone if i decide to share with the community.

Fs-base is common to everyone
The you can expect the airport included in the standards edition to be common for everyone,
Here is a list
Everything else come from World Updates, so should be avoided if you want to make sure that no objects are missing because a WU is not installed by that specific user
And really Appreciate when people avoid “abusing” libraries!

Some objects to use might come from World Updates, but as much as i can i am trying to use base one as much as it provided me what i needed. For nstance, i am working on a small scene around where i need construction stuff and, was not able to find a trailer office like i wanted, one small one from FS-Base if i remember, but one from YPBO library, so if people as Australia will see it, if not they will only see the smallest one and, and, yeah might look weird with the street lamp i installed through the model to mimick a light above the door outside
I am not even sure if i will share as, being new to this, i might be shy to share them. And, one of them, being a helipad, i think i might need to ask permission before sharing, sicne i remade a police station when the helipad was operational, so not sure if it goes against some public security or what ever :S
Imho, if a place is available as a public source (e.g. pictures on the internet or some Google Street View image) you shouldn’t have any concern making a 3d copy of it
Avoiding logos and such can be a good idea to minimize any kind of copyright issue, although a freeware product is unlikely to be considered a copyright infringement. (To me, is just free advertising for the logo owner)
And I encourage you to share your work, maybe someone in the wild is waiting for that specific helipad!

Since i have seen you name in many replies for SDK and knows a lot, i dare hijacking my own thread and ask you a question, or thoughts, if unable to, i might try on the MSFS DevSupport SDK forums for more detail what i can do.
I decided to go another way with my scene, initially i wanted to lead an end of the bridge being removed, but it loads as we get in, the small section remain when a distance looks too add and breaks the immersion looking it at a distance as it does not match the scene or object i created around, i went an another way, to remove the whole bridge and not creating a construction site, but simply redid the texture around to remove the satellite imagery of when it was taken.
So now i am experiencing an issue, that, on the first scene i created, i was avoiding by using Apron instead of Polygon, but since this scene is not an airport, i cannot use Apron that follows grounds and overlap perfectly, so no way to use PaintedLines
So now my problem is, the road painted line i created a small polygons with asphalt coloured to white, but, what i see in dev mode and what i see when i load the package as normal game, is different, those lines does not load entirely or seems distorted, i tried creating a Terraform to level up the ground, but still no joy, image below show what it looks like in devmode and what it looks like in game, dash lines are 4 pointd Plygons using an asphalt material and duplicated many times to create the dash lines. Any thoughts? What i should do in this case or avoid to? Why are Aprons object style are not being available outside Airport area but with a different name
about the polygons, it is a know issue
i tried myself now with similar result, I will bump up the 3d at devsupport for you
Actually the Polygon is not really the right tool to “draw” something
I would suggest to add an Airport in your scene so you can use Airport related stuff, you can create a fake one or choose a nearby airport ICAO to override, and increase the “test radius”, wich is the distance from the center of the Airport whithin you are allow to place airport related stuff

I will have to try out the trick for Airport. Sadly on this project, i have too much done to redo it, worst case lines will be what they are, or i will try to use a material that has more and an grudge alpha, so lines are more faded out to see more that they turn out.
A few question about the airport trick:
1- When creating an airport, if needed to create a fake one to have access to the airport obecjt, again i did not test yet, but will it always show up on the world map? Or what trick there is so it does not show.
2- If going with the Object Test Radius expanded, does it add time on loading as the zone if bigger, lot bigger at a certain point, will it cause lags?
You don’t really need to redo anything, simple add and Airport inside the scenery editor
The Airport is just an object, just like a Polygon or a Scenery
Everything in the Objects window is an Object
- maybe tagging the fake apt as “closed” will hide it on the map? Never tried

@mamuDesign ohhh i miss understood, thought you meant add an airport as in, when you initially create the scene, still about a week new to the scenery creation, still need to learn a lot For some reason, i always thought Airport creation needed to be decided at the very beginning when creating scenery… face palming myself right now
I tried quick, added the airport, and right away clicked the Closed Airport, and does not show on the world map. Will redo my highway later, since if i use PaintedLines, the polygons for the road i made will always be on top, but at least i have the texture done, will simply be to trace over my actually texture shapes, but lines will now show properly.
Thanks a lot! Will show screenshots when done… Now the excitement will make my work day painful as i will feel like a kid waiting for Zmast to happey, which my Xmast will be 5 PM to try thiks in the evening lol.
Useful tips, now i know to add Airport, creating all textures, shapes etc with Apron liek i dod on my Helipad Scene, way less painful… so much appreciated again!
