Hello,
Due to hardware change I made a full reinstall of my win11 and MSFS (store version). I have scenery purchased only in MSFS marketplace, so after first start on the marketplace I selected all content to download/update.
Unfortunately the default scenery is mixing into all of the add-on scenery, looks the default is sitting somehow on top and MSFS messing up the order.
It is a fresh install, and all scenery is from the markeplace internal to MSFS.
Someone had/have the same issue?
Below example is from LOWW
Edit:
So far I have tried the followings without success:
- Start with empty Community folder
- Deleting scenery indexes
- playing around with Package Reorder Tool
- In content manager deleting and adding again purchased scenery
Are you using DX12? For me it looks like the texture of addon airport is missing and default airport got exposed.
Yes, I am using DX12.
Checked, and switching back to DX11 seems solving the problem. The only issue is, using DX12 was already a workaround as with DX11 if I am using Navigraph Charts in external browser then my Radeon GPU driver is crashing.
I just upgraded my old system, including the replacement of RTX2080S to an RX 7900 XT. With the Nvidia card I was using already DX12, but I had no such scenery issue. Can it be because of the AMD card/driver? ![ ](https://forums.flightsimulator.com/images/emoji/twitter/thinking.png?v=12)
I have purchased the new GPU just now, so I still have a month to test, worst case I can bring it back and decide to buy Nvidia if things are not improving, but I really want to give a chance to Radeon ![ ](https://forums.flightsimulator.com/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=12)
It’s an old topic that happens with both AMD and NVIDIA. There is nothing known that you can do on your side, it’ll be a fix for Asobo. No idea if they are even aware though.
The funny thing however is… I have the same problems when I fly 2D but none in VR. Explain that ![ ](https://forums.flightsimulator.com/images/emoji/twitter/smiley.png?v=12)
Its a new bug with SU12 (cgl not loading at 3rd party airports) Asobo know about it
i found out when most of my Burning blue airports had default ground textures.
it doesnt affect all airports, seems random, turning off ones that work cause ones that dont work to start working again very odd
It’s a bug but it’s not new to SU12. It has existed ever since DX12 came in to being & there’s loads of threads on this forum about it.
Asobo logged it as a bug quite a while ago but it hasn’t been squished as yet.
I have been doing one of the bush trips in New Zealand using DX12 and it is terrible landing on grass airstrips when at least 6 ft of the top layer of scenery disappears and you land on the scenery that is left behind. I thought it might have something to do with the New Zealand scenery upgrade.
