Definitive GUIDE to Improve Performance & Understand Each Setting?

Hi all,

Run a 5950x, 64GB CL14 Ram, 3090 Strix O’Ced, Dark Hero with MSFS and OS on NVME & Win11. Getting Around 30FPS at various Airports etc but sim overall feels sluggish, much more than it should.

I am looking for a Definitive Guide on how to set Graphics/System etc which explains to me the Visual Differences by each setting but also the Performance gained.

In other words knowing what each setting does visually and at what Perf cost will allow me and others hopefully to tweak and get the most out of my Hardware and Sim.

Can anyone recommend such a Guide which covers off visual and performance outcomes from each setting in the sim and any other Windows settings.

Nice PC. Very similar to what I have. 30 FPS on the ground at major airports isn’t bad. It’s actually normal. Depending on your settings, expect to top out in the 50s if you max everything out.
