Deliberate plane check up doesn't reset counter for mandatory check up in career mode

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

On career Company Management screen player can choose aircraft and open up Management screen for listed aircraft.
There is a button “Update check up” which player can press to check all aircraft components.

This button shows two counters inside - last check up time and time interval of upcoming mandatory check up.
In case player presses the button and confirms check up procedure, money will be deducted from player’s account, but both timers won’t reset themselves.

Following behavior has been detected instead:

  • “Last” timer advances itself by 1 hour forward (e.g. 19 hr → 20 hr);
  • “Mandatory” timer decreases itself by 1 hour (e.g. 05 hr → 04 hr).

Edit: adding cross-link to another bug report: MSFS 2024 1.2.7.0 Career mode - When buying new plane it has wrong mandatory check up timer

Moreover amount of money deducted from player’s account doesn’t match listed check up price.
On the screenshot below I’ve got 1 068 908 cr on balance. Listed check up price is 3 983 cr.
I expect balance to be 1 068 908 - 3 983 = 1 064 925 cr right after check up.

However balance shows 1 064 899 cr instead, so about 26 cr have been lost somehow.
This is about 1% error margin and in-game credits are represented as integer value, there shouldn’t be rounding error with these calculations.

• I have the same issue and it is a very costly one.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I do a mandatory checkup, pay 21.000Cr. and doe a delegated maitnenance (30.000Cr), start the flight, but abondon it, because I forgot to fuel enough. Starting a new flight abliges me to do the update check again, for another 21.000Cr, or I risk that during flight suddenly “tire failure” appears, or another anomaly. The whole maintenance system should be reviewed.

• yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• i did a mandatory C172 check up which detected flight control issues which i then repaired.

now, when i start a new mission and select the plane for transferal to the new airport, i get this:

note the amber bullet and “to maintain”, implying the plane requires servicing (even though service was just completed).

the maintenace screen shows:

last checkup (3 hours ago), mandatory checkup overdue (it says due 2 hours ago – however, the mandatory checkup was done 3 hours ago), and under delegated maintenance, it says, “to maintain”. however, maintenance is unselectable (and has no credit cost listed).

four hours later:

I’m surprised there aren’t more votes for this. I have enough planes that I can’t keep track of when I last did what. Since the status on these screens is so broken, I end up doing check ups every few hours just to be on the safe side.

Looks this this is a duplicate of this bug report.

i wish to report that the problem is still there , i have 4 planes , i only use an aeroelvira optica to fly , the other 3 cessna 172 are for my crew and even if i do maintenance every two flights (every hour) the mandatory check box is still red and says the check is X hours ago
