Determining cause of performance loss in Germany (somewhere east of EDDF and EDDK)

I’ve noticed the areas east of EDDF (around Neu-Isenburg) and around EDDK facing east as well are absolutely hammering my GPU (and making cpu abnormally hot as well). I want to make clear the hardware behavior this area is causing is not caused in any other areas of the game world.

Performance and fps actually seem fairly normal on the ground and in the air in the affected areas–it’s just that my cpu and gpu temps really ramp up in these specific places compared to other, way more dense areas filled with multiple payware airports. I actually have very good performance with Aerosoft EDDF as well.

-The issue only seems to happen at a certain height above the ground, and only when looking looking east.

-The GPU still gets hammered the exact same way even if I remove every single third party addon. This is with a completely empty community folder and not even the premium default EDDF installed. Clear skies too.

-I have even tried removing all Germany world updates, points of interest and anything else I could find in the main game directory (“Official” folder) that seemed to control some element of scenery in Germany. I was sure POI Frankfurt or one of the city updates was causing this, but with them removed, I was still getting the same unusually high gpu use and high temps.

Does anyone else have the same issue and has found what the cause of this is? There seems to be something east of EDDK and EDDF that is quite resource hungry.
