Brief description of the issue:

Propulsion and electronics will not power up. Missing master switch, missing avionics switch, red switch that is supplied does not power up any of the systems.
Also, you cannot get the propulsion fan to work.

From a cold and dark, try to turn on the instrumentation. Then try to turn on the electric fan to take off. Nothing turns on. But, if you use keyboard shortcuts for Master Power (Shift-M) and Avoinics (Page-Up) all instruments turn on. Then turn on power to fan, and propulsion computer, and do ‘Control-E’ to auto start, then the gliders propulsion fan (small electric fan on nose) powers up slowly. Use throttle to control that.

Similar problem, with all switches on, and avionics on, the motor power display is on, but when I advance the throttle, the power display goes blank and a message says to turn power on.

In comparison, the Discus FES works using the throttle, after you flip all the power switches to on.

With avionics on, all power switches on, and all panels have display, advance the throttle and the FES power panel goes off and a message says to turn on power.

Please note, this is with a cold and dark start, on a parking spot. Powering up the glider in total cold and dark state. One cannot turn on the Master or Battery, or the Avionics, and you cannot power up the fan on the propulsion system.

I can get avionics power, all displays on, switch FES master power and display power on,
but when advancing throttle, the FES display turns off, then a message to turn on power.

Compared with the Discus FES, the FS DG electric sailplane is useless for electric powered flight.

Otherwise the DG flies great, except for the yaw string is bugged. Where the Discus yaw string is perfect.
Recommend that the DG developers talk to the Discus developers.

I am having the same problems.

I didn’t use the throttle. I used the dial on the FES panel. And I had to keep trying to figure out the FES main power switch. It wasn’t intuitive, I’ll admit. But I did get it to work. Just keep trying. Maybe watch some YouTube videos.
