ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Moving map not oriented correctly - plane is pointing up, map is North Up. (Possibly the same “HDG up” issue that affects multiple airplanes?)

Vario needles and digital indications do not work. Beeping noise changes, but needles are stuck at 0.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start Free flight in the air
  2. Turn airplane to a heading other than north.
  3. See the moving map going a direction other than where the airplane symbol is pointing
  4. Make the airplane climb or descend
  5. Observer the vario needles and digital readout stuck at zero.

The 3 buttons on the right of the vario don’t do anything. I thought this might have been by design, but they work correctly in the Stemme.

While we’re at it…

The PFD “Mode” knob (on the top right) switches through what appear to be a bunch of debug/test screens.

The FCU Power switch (Little toggle on the top of the top left round-dial) is very inconsistent. Just turn it on and off a few times - the instrument power will get out of sync with the switch. It can get stuck on or off regardless of the switch position. Toggling the switch a few more times will clear it up.

Also the COM knobs don’t work. I am not able to change the COM frequency with the mouse in the Cockpit.

I also experience all of the above issues:
Variometer not working properly;
Tracking on PFD map doesn’t follow aircraft orientation;
Only zoom knob works for the PFD, page & softkeys have no effect;
FCU power switch faulty;
Unable to adjust radio frequencies with the COM knobs;
Audible variometer continues to sound when battery & avionics are set to off;

Some of these faults also apply to the LS8-18

I am getting the issue with the Variometer not working in the DG1001 as well.
