Different Brightness/Contrast Front vs Side

I wonder if anyone could help me with this puzzling problem. I understand the complaints of colors being washed out in MSFS, and I agree, but I’m at a loss to explain this. When I look out the front of the Longitude, I get a washed out image, but when I look out the side view, it’s much better. Attached are images for comparison. From the front, the mountain in the distance is almost completely indistinguishable from the rest of the horizon, but when I turn, it can be seen much more clearly. Note the improved colors in the side view also. Can I do anything to improve my front view in this situation? Thanks.

This link may help.
There is also another post from the same author a few below it that also may help.
The topic is different but the “cure” should work in either case.
