Hello:
I have just started using the DA40NG (differential braking) and I need to understand how to set this up with the throttle of the TM T.16000M because I don’t have rudder pedals. I understand that I need to use an axis but that’s the extent of my knowledge. I do have a preference for using the wing-like flaps on the back of the quadrant for this if it can be done.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You do not need to assign them to an axis.
There are commands for left brake and right brake in Controls Options that can be assigned to buttons or to keyboard keys.
Buttons are tight - I would really like to use these “wings” if possible.

If you have a twist rudder, I checked the flight_model and systems config files and the DA40NG has the correct settings to be able to use that for diff. braking. The front wheel steering is set up as a true caster, so you need to either use a little throttle with the rudder to swing the tail, much like a taildragger, or use full rudder deflection with the twist stick before hitting the brakes to activate braking on just the inside wheel.
