As the title suggests, or at least make it an option you can turn on or off in options. Will give the use of higher than 1 sim rate a more smooth experience. I change the sim rate when doing long cruises on autopilot as I don’t have the patience to just sit there in front of my screen doing nothing. Also, an increased sim rate makes the autopilot struggle when encountering turbulence so I don’t see any reason for turbulence to be simulated when using increased sim rate.
Are you sure it’s turbulence you’re experiencing, and not just a regular oscillations that is just more noticeable because of the faster movement rate?
I would say both. But disabling turbulence would make it a lot better when using sim rate above 1x.
