Disabling dynamic head movement / momentum effect in the cockpit

Hello!

How can I disable Dynamic Head Movement / momentum effect in the cockpit?

Thanks

Hi @hhelikopter4891:
See the two options highlighted below - Freelook Momentum & Camera Shake):

Try setting the latter to OFF & reducing Freelook Momentum

Unfortunately, that doesn’t help. I already tried. The set camera view changes during a turn or ascent or descent. I would like to eliminate this.

Hi there @hhelikopter4891

The dynamic headmovement can be found in flightsimulator. CFG in the local cache directory
Here is is possible to change the numbers at least to decrease movement.
But backup the original numbers so when it goes wrong you can copy original back.

Momentum can be found in own aircraft cameras.cfg here you can find the line
momentum = 1 this means it is on, to turn it off change the 1 into 0
But beware the cameras.cfg differrent views so if you are in the sim turn dev mode on
And go to tab debug > aircraft > camerablend , now in the left upper corner you can see
Guid nr this is unique nr and can be found in cameras.cfg and corresponding to the viewpoint
looking for.
So if you select with left cntrl key plus a nr like 1 or 2 to select the view you want
You can edit it by window to select momentum on or off

(Also it is possible to set initialzoom = 0.27 or so which can be intresting but thats something else to set new default for that particular window view of the main window.
I have my own theory about it if someone who reads this post.)

When you dont want to edit than in user general ui ingame select section camera and
Select sliders momentum internal and external and slide them to 0
And camera shake to off

Hope this helps

@PHSepp796 I have already edited the aircraft camera cfg. The [CAMERADEFINITION.0]
Title =“Pilot” I set “Momentum Effect” value to 0. Unfortunately, the simulator does not interpret it, the movement does not stop. It worked in the FSX simulator, it does not work in the MSFS simulator, it is not supported.

Well im not at the sim atm .
Are you sure guid nrs are identical
And also very important you need the airplanes own cameras.cfg not the one you can find in local cache directory. Because these files are not the same.
For example if in packages folder (im on xbox app) i click thru till asobo-airplane-C152
In this folder the cameras.cfg which is used for this specific airplane is very detailed and explained about how the file works.
Check it please

I did everything as you said. Unfortunately, it’s not good.

Sorry to hear i hope you can find a solution for this.
