Disabling HDR (Required) should be seamless and automatic

I use HDR for all my gaming. In order to use VR in MSFS
#1 -I must first disable HDR in the windows.
#2- Start sim disable HDR, (note: sometimes if not done in order a second reboot of the sim is required).

I then must repeat this process to undo it.

I hope there can be a better solution such as allowing me to keep all my HDR settings active for 2D. While the sim turns off HDR for VR proper use.

Is there no HDR VR headset available?

No. And most likely not in the foreseeable future, would be my guess.
