Still present in .14. Happened this morning with the Fenix A320.
Another weird thing. At least with the Fenix, some of the installed liveries don’t show up at all. I have tried removing and reinstalling them but no go. And, enabling and disabling. This started at some point during SU2 beta but not exactly sure when.
same issue with JustFlight F28. When upgrading from .13 to .14, I had just 2 Community liveries showing up in the list but not the « main » airplane.

Has anyone found a reliably reproducible set of steps for this, starting with an empty community folder? i.e. Add aircraft “ABC” to your community folder, launch FS2024, verify aircraft ABC is selectable, exit FS2024, add livery “XYZ” to your community folder, launch FS2024, aircraft ABC is no longer selectable.
I have a feeling the problem is more complex that those over-simplified steps, since liveries seem to show up once and then cause aircraft to disappear on subsequent sessions, but if anyone has nailed this down it might help get it fixed. I’ll give it a shot this evening if I have time.
It started with one of the SU2 Beta iterations.
Still happening for me in .14 as well. I have the PMDG 737 enabled and have actually flown it in SU2, but now there’s just a blank space where it should be.
I just checked with SU2 Beta 1.4.14.0. Community Folder completely empty. I disabled and reenabled the Ju-52 in the Library so that it shows up in the aircraft selection:
But after restarting the sim, Community folder still completely empty, she’s gone again:
So, nope … not fixed.
This is right question! I’ve tried a couple of times to break it on demand and have not been successful. I know it is not random but have not been able to reliably reproduce at all. It never seems to happen within a session though–I’ve checked between flights, etc. For me, I think is only on a fresh startup of 2024.
Now with Fenix A320 and A321 not showing (having flown both recently). Is there a workaround to get them back/usable? Or are we just meant to not use them again?
Had the same problem, however - Just deleted all 3rd party liveries and mine is now back!
Reverting back to sim update 1 then loading in exiting loading su 2 got them all back for me but it will happen again so you’ll have to keep doing it
Yes, uninstall any liveries you installed for them.

In my experience this is a temporary solution. At some point it could happen again - and that’s the mystery here!
I have no 3rd Party Liveries installed.
If you reinstalled the livery the problem will show up again. I’m keeping add-on liveries uninstalled until Asobo fixes the issue for good.
Yeah, but it’s not such a big deal if I can just enable the one I want ahead of a flight.
Maybe it’s just that Fenix livery methodology hasn’t been optimised for FS2024 methodology yet.
Are people seeing this with aircraft other than the Fenix?
Yes, I don’t have Fenix and have the issue with other aircraft.
Thanks, that helped me with the Fenix. I only had one variant showing.
I only needed to disable and enable through the marketplace library and didn’t have even need to reboot the sim.
I suggest to try that for anyone having issues with third party aircraft that are not visible in the UI.
Description of the issue:
MSFS randomly hides aircraft. You will fly an aircraft one day and then the next day the aircraft isn’t listed. Happens with default aircraft like the C-17 and Payware and freeware aircraft installed in my community folder. All you get is a blank space where the aircraft should be. When I check the Files using the VFS projection I can see that the aircraft has loaded. MSFS just randomly hides aircraft.

Usually at least one or more aircraft is hidden each time I load MSFS. But often different aircraft are hidden.
Just look for aircraft to select.
And after emptying my community folder and reloading MSFS the C-17 was again selectable. I then I exited from MSFS and restored my community folder. When I reloaded MSFS the C-17 was still available.
My theory is that this problem is linked to the new aircraft sorting Asobo have introduced in update 2 beta.
After I disabling the Update 2 beta, ALL missing aircraft, including the C-17 and DA62X, were again present. So changes in the update 2 beta is the cause of the problem. Reinstalling the update 2 beta sees all aircraft being visible with no changes to my community folder. But this appears to be only a temporary fix.

This is a bug and not related to community folder content. However it is often only obvious when there is content in the community folder.
It is also a known problem and reported previously by Asobo in the link below. The problem has returned.
