So this is a weird one. Trying to fly the DA62, stock livery. When I load into the game, the cockpit and interior is gone. I just see the outline of the exterior, the wings and engines, and other objects like the landing gear. If I try to accelerate, my control surfaces are responsive and my aircraft will move, but there is no change in the pitch of the sound of the engines or the sound of the rolling landing gear.
No mods currently installed. Not running in dev mode. First time I’ve noticed this, and it appears to impact every livery of the DA62 but no other aircraft. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft as suggested by another post on another forum with someone having a similar problem with the C172, but no dice.
Anyone else ever seen this?
I’m flying the Da62 every day at present. Never seen this. How strange.
Is this maybe like an odd PoV camera glitch? Pilot seated position set too far forward and you clip out of the cockpit?
That was my first thought…that maybe after the last update, the default pilot position had been moved to be out of the cockpit or something, so I moved the viewpoint around but still couldn’t see the interior. Even if you got to external view, there is no interior renderered. As you can see you can make out the faint outline of the windscreen and glare shield, so the point of view is roughly in the right place.
Yes, I saw the faint outlines and also the nose wheel elements and thought clipping.
Odd.
Well, at least you get to see the nose wheel retract right?
And you can role play that Wonder woman gave you the keys to her invisible plane.
So it’s not all bad!

Have you tried removing and reinstalling via the Content Manager?
Have the exact same issue with the TBM. Can’t fly it anymore.

That’s what I get for trying to give advice when I’m not completely awake!
