This is a new one for me and I have did extensive testing on my network, including double and triple checking firewall configuration, bandwidth resources and IP configuration etc but, I am getting a disconnect message then the sim is reconnecting immediately thereafter. This is happening repeatedly. I am using the EU North server and EU West Server but, with the same outcome. I have the game on gamepass in case that is relevant.
Is there an intermittent problem with the servers at the moment or is anyone else experiencing similar?
I sometimes get this in the sdk too, a message saying I have been disconnected then another saying reconnect was successful. I never bother to check for a cause at my end because no other connection issue crops up in any other application so it has to be a server side issue with MS. I am also continuously logged into office 365 and SharePoint and that’s rock solid but then that’s an enterprise quality connection so far more robust as a result.
I often experience one disconnection per flight (one and only one), always after a few minutes in an area with photogrammetry, never in the middle of nowhere. I get a red “connection failed” over the screen, it only lasts a few seconds, then it says “connection successful”. The flight continue without much troubles, it seems that I have enough cached data for a few seconds of disconnection when I fly low with GA airplanes. Once I have experienced this disconnection in a flight, I can jump from one photogrammetry area to another without experiencing disconnection again (as long as it is the same flight).
Not done a flight for about three days. I was looking forward to a quick jaunt in the TBM too. Oh well.
