Have been using the discord overlay (Comms Chat) on the top rhs of flying screen for last 18 mths without any probs…after upgrading to latest sim upgrade the Discord Overlay has stopped working…Anyone else experienced this and any fixes out there?

I can’t solve it
Had this as well, and the solution is easy.
Some not so smart Dev decided that FS-2020 in SUX do not run in exclusive fullscreen mode anymore 
Exclusive fullscreen is essential for the Discord Overlay!!
To bring it back:
Go to
C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator
and open
UserCfg.opt
with the texteditor of your choice.
Change line 5 an 6 from 1 to 0:
Version 66
{Video
Adapter "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080"
Monitor 0
Windowed 0
FullscreenBorderless 0
WindowActive 0
Then safe and set the file to ReadOnly!

yes, then i restarted the sim, and nothing. Mumble mumble then i restarted pc as well …
my card is AMD (line 3)
other lines are the same
In directx 12 it works. But only at up-left
