I’ve just noticed a truly bizarre effect while doing some camera panning tests before replying to another thread - this one if anyone is interested.
I used my little app to teleport from where I was currently tooling around (near YBOK) to central London and my fps instantly tanked to 10fps and stayed there. Not to worry I thought, the servers are busy and it might take a while for everything to stream in - nope it stayed at 10-11 fps all the way to EGLL. I then quit back to the world map and spawned in normally in the air at EGLL - this time the frames were normal and locked at 30fps all the way to Big Ben.
Seems there might be some anomaly/maybe bug with instant teleportation. I’d be interested to hear from anyone else who has access to instant teleportation and can reproduce the phenomenon.
