i can confirm though i have had a buddy check his in the same areas, working correctly and it looks how it should on his. so its a strange bug.

That is odd. I’ll post later this evening. It kind of looks like you have Bing data disabled, and you are suing the default textures.

You mention that it happens all over the world so that backs up that assertion. It sounds a little weird, but if you check your online features, and they are all set to ON, can you flip them all to off, then flip them back to ON again. I’m not sure if a relaunch of the sim is necessary for the settings changes to take effect. It’s a bit long winded, but quicker than a re-install, so you could:

  1. Launch the sim
  2. Turn all online features off, close then re-launch the sim.
  3. Spawn at Schiphol to observe any changes.
  4. End the flight, then re-enable the online features, close the sim, and re-launch
  5. Re-spawn at Schiphol, and see if that fixed it.

I don’t really see what you mean, but if it’s the sharpness of the Bing texture in the distance it might be related to the anisotropic filtering (graphics options).

You’re certainly in online mode and I think those settings are just fine.

Can you check your graphics settings (in game as well as in the video card driver e.g. Nvidia/AMD settings)?

Will be running an event tomorrow night with 30 plus pilots. That will be a good test. Today I was flying at a hand crafted airport with two other flyers. No performance Issues.

yes AF is at 16 like it always is. yes i have been through all graphcis options and data and turned them off and back on etc. i will try closing the sim with them off but as i said im preety sure ive tried everything other than re downloading the sim or the packages in the ingame store… its wierd its never done this before only since the update the other night. and yes i clear my community clear cache etc all the usual stuff. yes the textures are REALLY blurry from 1km.

I am usually a very patient person, but I have to say it. Sorry in advance. Some people might not agree, but I don’t care tbh. Not at this point anymore.
So the last update introduced stutters that many people encountered. Many people started to talk about them. There was radio silence from Asobo.
To fix some issues, they released a hotfix after what, 2 or 3 weeks ?
Now on this update, the previous stutters seem fixed for me. But now I have to disable multiplayer to stop the slideshow at busy airports. Something we didn’t see before the update.
I sent a ticket to zendesk, I mentioned what works on the forums, many people are talking about it. And once again, no reply from Asobo, and not even from the moderators. It seems that some issues get passed along to the devs immediately, but not all issues.
For people doing group flights, like me, this is definitely an issue.
I have done more testing today, and every time the same thing, it gets busy, change server or disable multiplayer. As soon as this is done, all is back to normal.
I really do not understand the radio silence from Asobo or the Mods. And issues happen, i don’t complain about that. But the real complaint is that this has been going on for way too long and they simply shut up. There is an important issue, as multiplayer is a big part of this sim.
I am quite sure this problem impacts quite some users, so honestly, I don’t even understand the silence from the moderators.
Pass on the info, get some feedback, let us know. And at least, we will know something.

yeah, try LFPG or LFMN simply with ALL_PLAYERS in the settings. You will probably see the issue. Then if you switch to Group Only, or disable multiplayer, all will be fine.
I’d be surprised if you don’t see the issue. But again, everything seems possible with this sim.

Why throw slander at the employees of Asobo, while giving the management praise, all without a single speck evidence to back it up? In any case, this makes no shred of sense.

If management is so stellar, why have they allocated tasks to employees who are not skilled or knowledgeable enough to do it?

Just like a bad worker blames his tools, bad management blames his employees. When something is not right, the management and leadership are the ones to answer for it. That is how reality works, and that’s why they are at a higher paygrade than other employees.

Man I love what you are saying. It goes in-line with my complaint two posts above.
They are doing a great job, I mean it, but the communication on Management level is as bad as it can be. And I am saying this as an IT Manager in a French company.

Everything seems fine here. Update went smooth, performance is good as before.

Well at least they could have communicated changes

Just tried LFPG in the C172. Did a few circuits, take offs and landings. Smooth as silk. All options on Ultra in 4K.

That sounds interesting.
What server do you use and what is your multiplayer setting ?
Did you try ALL_PLAYERS and a European server ?
I don’t doubt what you are saying, just trying to understand, that’s all. And for this we have to compare the correct settings.

Tried All Players on West USA server. I only have a 30mbs Internet connection.

ok, but this might explain why it works. Can I ask you to try West Europe as a server ?
This will get you a lot more players in the sim around Paris, especially LFPG

no, really just test an airport with a lot of traffic, like LFPG on the West Europe server. West Europe will get you a lot of players. Then take, lets say the TBM, and see if you get stutters there ? Best is on ALL_PLAYERS as a setting

I have the default TBM, don’t currently use the modded one. Is that OK?
