i have been getting so many CTDs and with no mods in my community folder its been a very unstable update for me so my only question is what is [Disk 6 has been surprise removed] everytime the sim crashes i see this in my event viewer what could it be ?..
This is normal if the sim crashes. MSFS creates “virtual” disk drives when it is running. These virtual drives are closed when the sim exits normally, but that does not happen if it crashes. The message in the event viewer is a symptom of the fact that the sim CTD unexpectedly, but it is not the cause of the CTD.
yeah i get what your saying but i cant seem to find the real root of my CTDs i have tried everything is there maybe like a log file somwhere which can point me in the right direction?
Just the event viewer. Depending on what caused the CTD, there may (or may not) be an entry in there for the actual CTD, but usually the information really isn’t detailed enough to point to a definite cause.
I have solve my issues by just doing a full clean reinstall of the sim 
it was pain deleting everything but at least it was worth it!
